Andy Smith

Andy Smith serves as board operator and host of WDIY's Friday broadcast of Fresh Air with Terry Gross. He is a Lehigh Valley Realtor® who got his start in radio broadcasting during his freshman year at Muhlenberg College on the college’s radio station, WMUH, back in 1985. He is enthused to be volunteering for an NPR member station. His love of music blossomed when he began his piano studies at age 4.  Along the way, Andy has co-composed a musical, arranged music for Muhlenberg Summer Theatre, sung in Bethlehem’s St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox choir, and played in several rock bands.
