We’ll kick off with a return visit from Dr. Micah Sadigh, who did a popular presentation for us in the fall on the topic of “Sleep.” For this program he will focus on “Dreams.”
PreK Pathfinders is part of a monthly series designed for children aged 3-5 and their grown-ups.
This Month: Celebrate the belated World Migratory Bird Day! Observe live birds inside and up close before venturing outside to spy on their wild, feathered friends.
This program is offered free of charge thanks to funding from Lehigh County, but space is limited, so please register online. Please only register children for each child-adult team.

Like so many girls her age, little Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world. Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion, and Toto as they travel the universe of Dorothy’s imagination!
This evening with The Foztones will be dedicated to John Sproat, aka “Sproaty” – their long-time drummer who worked alongside Pete Fluck for over 40 years, who suddenly passed away in January.
The Foztones feature Craig Kastelnik on Hammond B3 organ and vocals, along with his wife Pat on vocals and percussion; Jimmy “Jammer” Meyer on guitar and vocals; Pete Fluck on saxophones, harmonica, and vocals; and the great Billy Wear on drums. Special guest Mook Stanton will join them on vocals.
Their repertoire is a fusion of Blues, Swing, Latin, Ska, Funk, and Jazz, offering a unique blend of original tunes and delightful covers from an array of genres. The Foztones bring a wealth of experience and diversity to their music, having shared the stage with legendary artists like Little Anthony, Bernard Purdie, Bob Dorough, Bobby Vinton, Alex Meixner, the Shirelles, Glenn Schwartz, Dave Goddess Group, and many more.

Twenty-seven artists and collaborators present an exhibit which looks at plastics in our lives and environment. A variety of media will showcase in all four gallery spaces at Nurture Nature Center including an installation about the Delaware River created through a partnership with artist Kate Dodd.
