Back in October, the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild held its second annual Pennsylvania Youth Storytelling Showcase at the Moravian Academy. This is a companion competition for the National Youth Storytelling Showcase.
I want to play for you tonight the stories of the two winners. First is Gerard Behe, winner of his age group with the story Mercury and the Woodcutter, followed by Kaylee Davis, the Grand Champion, with a story she wrote, Can You Help Me?

Coming up in the New Year, starting on Sunday, January 17th, at 2:00pm at Godfrey Daniels, is the start of the Children’s Storytelling Series. First up is Karen Maurer, who asks the kids "Wanna Build a Snowman?" Come with your little ones and find out what that is all about.
The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild holds its Storytelling Circle at Godfrey Daniels at 7 East 4th Street in Bethlehem on the second Wednesdays of the month at 7:30 pm (except the month of August). Come and listen to stories or try out a story yourself. We are a friendly audience and the event is free.
