We storytellers love October. I recently spent three hours around a bonfire, telling those odd, uncanny tales that want to be told this time of year.
For tonight, around our radio bonfire, you will hear two stories. The first is told by guild member John Calahan, a story generally referred to as The Lady and the Vampire. That will be followed by an American tale called Wicked John, told by the late Kathy Pierce.
Pull that blanket closer about yourself and give a listen.

The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild holds its Storytelling Circle at Godfrey Daniels at 7 East 4th Street in Bethlehem on the second Wednesdays of the month at 7:30 pm (except the month of August). Come and listen to stories or try out a story yourself. We are a friendly audience and the event is free.
