State Rep. Mike Sturla, Governor Tom Wolf, Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Patrick McDonnell, PennDOT Deputy Secretary Jennie Louwerse, and Shannon Reiter, of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, spoke during a Nov. 22 press conference in Lancaster which highlighted innovative local anti-littering measures and called for action to combat Pennsylvania’s litter-problem at all levels statewide, including the release of the state's first-ever Litter Action Plan.

Governor Tom Wolf’s administration is calling for statewide action to combat Pennsylvania’s litter problem. WDIY’s Sarit Laschinsky has more.

The Pennsylvania Litter Action Plan is available online at the Department of Environmental Protection's website at https://www.dep.pa.gov/Business/Land/Waste/littering/Pages/Litter-Action-Plan.aspx.

DEP has also identified many ways Pennsylvanians can be anti-litter at www.dep.pa.gov/litter.
