Nonprofit organizations serving diverse communities across Pennsylvania can now apply for grants to enhance security and protect against hate crimes. WDIY's Sarit Laschinsky has more.

The Non-Profit Security Grant Program has $5 million available for applications, which will be accepted for a 30-day period from Feb. 1 to Mar. 2. Grant awards range from $5,000 to $150,000.

Applications and program information can be found on the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency website at pccd.pa.gov.
