A new partnership between Lehigh County’s Office of Children and Youth, Pinebrook Family Answers, and Valley Youth House is seeking to help local families find affordable housing. WDIY’s Sarit Laschinsky has more.

Lehigh County has received $249,062 in funding for its local Stable Housing Intervention in Facilitated Teams (SHIFT) program, which seeks to prevent out-of-home placement for children and families due to housing and homelessness issues.

More details about the SHIFT program, along with information for landlords seeking to help, can be found by contacting Valerie Rode at 610-782-3071 or by email at valerierode@lehighcounty.org.
