Lehigh Valley Health Inspectors found 8,000 violations from 3,000 food service facilities in 2019. WDIY's James Johnson talked with Allentown Health Bureau Director Vicky Kistler about what constitutes a health violation and some of the most common violations found.

Most restaurant owners and managers insist most violations were minor and easily fixed, and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture notes that one bad inspection note doesn't always speak on the cleanliness of an establishment.

A searchable database of inspections from Pennsylvania food establishments is available at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's website.
