A New Jersey-born man with connections to Pennsylvania has been charged with the assault of a police officer during the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. WHYY’s Katie Meyer reports the man allegedly sprayed bear mace on officer Brian Sicknick, who later collapsed and died.
