Philadelphia Insectarium Evicted After Failure to Pay Mortgage, Building Left Trashed

Every display case and aquarium at the Philadelphia Insectarium was smashed by vandals.

A Philadelphia science museum was evicted from its premises on May 30 after missing close to a million dollars in mortgage payments and interest.

Now the building is empty - and there is a lot of cleaning up to do. WHYY’s Alan Yu reports.
