The Turn the Key programs aims to create energy efficient, affordable housing for city employees or income eligible first-time homebuyers. The first homes will be built on publicly owner land, like a lot on the 1300 block of Corlies Street in South Philadelphia.

A massive affordable housing program for middle income Philadelphians is gearing up. As WHYY’s Aaron Moselle reports, the city is in the process of seeking project proposals.
