The city of Philadelphia has won a bid to host games in the 2026 World Cup. WHYY's Tom MacDonald was at the official announcement party in LOVE Park.

WHYY reporter Tom MacDonald is a lifelong Philadelphia-area resident who has worked in the region since the mid-1980s.
