Many stores exploited a loophole in the law that took effect in January 2021 by providing even larger plastic bags.

Delaware has revised its plastic bag ban, with new changes that take effect July 1. The statue was updated after stores had found a way to subvert a law that took effect nearly 18 months ago. WHYY's Cris Barrish reports.
