Hospitals and long-term care facilities in the Garden State are experiencing large staff shortages due the pandemic, now driven by the omicron variant. The shortages come as hospitalizations for adults and children are up. From the New Jersey Desk, WHYY's Kenneth Burns reports officials are making plans to counter the shortages.
