Philadelphia’s District Attorney continues to walk back statements he made last week saying that the city was not seeing a spike in violence crime. Those comments gained national attention and rebuke from community activists who are dealing with the deadliest year in Philadelphia for homicides. WHYY’s Tom MacDonald has more.
