NJ Dept. of Corrections Reach Agreement with Justice Dept. over Abuse Allegations at Women’s Prison

The New Jersey Department of Corrections has reached an agreement with the Justice Department on how to move forward following allegations of rampant abuse at the state’s only prison for women.

As WHYY’s Joe Hernandez reports the U.S. Department of Justice should approve the agreement within weeks.
