State Lawmaker Launches New Attempt to Allow Community Solar

Lawmakers are trying to give people more options when it comes to buying solar energy. StateImpact Pennsylvania’s Rachel McDevitt reports state law allows for small, rooftop solar projects and large, utility-scale projects–but not for those that fall in-between.

She previously reported for WITF’s Radio Pennsylvania Network, where her work earned the National Association of State Radio Network’s award for best feature two years in a row.
