Norfolk Southern Releases Six-Point Safety Plan, Will Add More ‘Hotbox’ Sensors to Tracks

Norfolk Southern announced Monday it is implementing a six-point safety plan in the wake of last month’s train derailment that released hazardous chemicals along the Ohio - Pennsylvania border.

For The Allegheny Front, Reid Frazier reports it would increase the number of sensors placed near tracks to detect problems with railcars.
