Reading Seeking to Leave Act 47 Oversight This Year, but Want to Retain Commuter Tax

The city of Reading is aiming to exit a state program for financially distressed municipalities. WITF’s Anthony Orozco reports while leaders are excited to potentially leave Act 47 in July, they would like at least one element to remain in place.
