A recent study zooms in on areas across the country that are important for protecting threatened species. StateImpact Pennsylvania’s Rachel McDevitt reports the authors hope the work can be a tool to help focus conservation efforts in the commonwealth.

She previously reported for WITF’s Radio Pennsylvania Network, where her work earned the National Association of State Radio Network’s award for best feature two years in a row.
