The first of only two debates in New Jersey’s gubernatorial race was held Tuesday night. Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli launched a wave of attacks on Democratic incumbent Phil Murphy over the governor’s handling of Hurricane Ida and how the pandemic was handled.
