November is National Novel Writing Month. WDIY volunteer Janet Norwood spoke recently with Bethlehem author Kate Racculia about her newest book, Tuesday Mooney Talks to Ghosts, and her experiences as a writer in the Lehigh Valley.

Creative writing – novels, short stories, poetry is our topic. What workshops and grants are out there to help a fledgling writer? How does a young writer get started toward publication?

Eleanor Bobrow focuses on how men relate to one another when they are out watching sports at the bar.  How does watching sports help them build a connection with one another?

Eleanor talks with Allentown author Andrew Daniels about his new book, "The Barstool Book of Sports-Stats, Stories, and Other Stuff for Drunken Debate." Daniels is a Lehigh University graduate, a digital editor, and a veteran of Men's Health magazine who has interviewed notable celebrities including Mike Tyson and Vanilla Ice.
