Lehigh County Executive Phillips Armstrong recently gave some examples as to why he thinks the Lehigh Valley is in "excellent" condition, citing the retention of 3,500 jobs, 30-year budget plans, Old County Courthouse and Cedarbrook Facilities renovations, farmland preservation, and human services donations. 

Lehigh Valley Health Inspectors found 8,000 violations from 3,000 food service facilities in 2019. WDIY's James Johnson talked with Allentown Health Bureau Director Vicky Kistler about what constitutes a health violation and some of the most common violations found.

Allentown Mayor Ray O'Connell gave an optimistic State of the City address on February 25. He addressed 2019 achievements in providing meals to children in need and diverse business growth, city crime coverage improvements, his Vision 2030 plan, and more.

Lehigh County recently signed a partnernship with Mark43, a cloud-based public safety software company, to modernize and steamline records management for law enforcement agencies.
