At the Movies: The Meg

Paul Willistein of the Lehigh Valley Press reviews this science fiction thriller about a 75-foot-long megalodon shark. 

"The Meg" is a prehistoric creature that was thought to be extinct which resurfaces from the deep to wreak havoc on a nuclear submarine, a research vessel, and a beach resort. Jason Statham plays Jonas Taylor, who must rescue a crew in a submersible research vessel at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. "The Meg" is waiting.

The three candidates for the open seat in Pennsylvania’s newly-created 7th Congressional District appear in their first political forum of the campaign season. The one-hour discussion includes Republican Marty Nothstein, Democrat Susan Wild, and Libertarian Tim Silfies. 

Eleanor Bobrow welcomes State Representative Steve Samuelson to discuss protecting seniors from fraud and scams.

Rep. Samuelson serves the 135th Legislative District (Northampton County) and is the Democratic Chairman of the House Aging and Older Adult Services Committee.
