To honor Black History Month, Silagh White profiles Nate "The Mime" Moran who recently published his book The Mime Speaks, showcasing his remarkable story of struggle and why his motto is “Never Give Up.” Bathsheba Monk with Blue Heron Books in Allentown, which is publishing the book, also joins the conversation and describes the process and challenges of bringing a story like Nate's to bookshelves.

"Judas and the Black Messiah" is based on the story of an FBI informant (played by LaKeith Stanfield), who, in the late 1960s, infiltrated the Chicago chapter of the Black Panther Party, targeting the chapter’s leader, Fred Hampton (played by “Get Out” Oscar nominee Daniel Kaluuya). It’s an important movie, especially for African American History Month and recent social justice protests. Paul Willistein of the Lehigh Valley Press reviews the biography-drama.

Greg Capogna and Edward Meehan of the Rider-Pool Foundation and Trust welcome Dr. Brian Nester, President and CEO of Lehigh Valley Health Network, to talk about the social determinants of health and how they impact an entire health system from not only a patient services perspective, but a financial one as well.
