Movies at the Mill Easton

Host Kenn Michael speaks with filmmaker and festival director Gershon Hinkson about Movies at the Mill Easton (MME), a film festival created to aid in the redevelopment of the city of Easton.

Movies at the Mill will be held this Saturday, September 13 at The State Theatre in downtown Easton,  543 Northampton Street.  Film screenings begin at 5PM.  Tickets, directions, and more information are available at MoviesAtTheMill.com.

Carol Benner and Ellen Shaughnessy of Easton's annual Riverside Festival of the Arts joins hosts Kate Scuffle and George Miller to talk about this year's festival, from its exciting juried arts show to the popular Plein Air Art Contest and more.

Sal Panto's name is almost synonymous with "mayor" in the city of Easton between his stint in the 1980's and his current term.  He is a booster of the city while being one of the most outspoken advocates for regionalism, even when the benefits for the city are not so apparent.

The Riverside Festival of the Arts will return to the Easton waterfront this Saturday and Sunday. This year marks the 17th appearance for the festival which hosts visual arts, live music, vendors, and a juried plein air art contest with a chance to nab $1,600 for the best piece. Ellen Shaughnessy is on the festival's committee and gave us five things she's most excited for this weekend.
