The CDC is calling the latest surge of COVID-19 a “pandemic among the unvaccinated.”
Although New Jersey has one of the highest rates of fully vaccinated adults at 69%, there are still many in the state’s Black and Brown communities that are still hesitant. An expert tells WHYY’s Kenneth Burns that with the more contagious Delta variant showing up more in new cases, more needs to be done to reach those populations.
