A bakery with fresh, seasonal ingredients and acupuncture are just some of the services that Althea Seeds is bringing to the Lehigh Valley's four-legged friends.
Seeds is one of the owners of The Dining Dog and Friends Healthy Pet Market in Allentown. Along with her partner, Risa Krohn, Seeds hopes to bring a holistic approach to pets' health.
The Dining Dog and Friends were WDIY's partners during the 2019 Spring Memebrship Drive, matching member donations with a financial contributions to Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue in Quakertown. In total, the drive resulted in 47 animals being sponsored at Last Chance Ranch.
In order to get a better picture of Seeds' work with animals in the Lehigh Valley, we talked with her about the Dining Dog and Friends, as well as some of her other intiatives. The first part of the interview is presented here.
