Thomas Ardizzone

Program Host

Thomas Ardizzone is a rotating host of The World Blend, Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m., and is one of the founding members of WDIY. He is also a freelance video producer, musician and Tai Chi teacher.

As a musician with a degree in Anthropology, Thomas was naturally attracted to the music of other cultures. He studied with Navajo flutist R. Carlos Nakai, African drumming with Baba Olatunji, musical improvisation with cellist David Darling of the Paul Winter Consort and Australian didgeridoo with John Stokes of The Tracking Project in New Mexico. His main musical instrument is the Yamaha WX5 wind synth.
