Don Miles began volunteering for WDIY over a decade ago. He is the local news host and board operator for WDIY's Friday broadcast of NPR’s All Things Considered. Don was a Jersey boy (Exit 136) and has lived in Bethlehem for over 40 years. He is a retired environmental lawyer, widower of an Easton Area High School Spanish teacher, and father of two amazing sons. Don's love of radio began listening late at night to legendary monologist Jean Shepard on WOR. He then blossomed as a DJ and went on to serve as the program director for Lehigh University's WLVR in 1969. Off the air, Don is an amateur photographer, hiker, and a board member of the Lehigh Valley Sierra Club and of the Pennsylvania Sierra Club.
