"A small bright spot" and "Riot of Life," three local artists

William Christine's oils and watercolors reflect his backyard garden in a small bright spot." During this unsettling time of pandemic and divisiveness the process of hunkering down in my backyard and relating the beauty I see in this bit of landscape has been a sustaining tonic for me." Also works by Terry Stout and Tom Maxfield illustrate the riot of life. Flora, fauna, small and large, parts of interwoven, integrated systems that make the wild web of life - these are the concepts behind this show. Life's amazing tenacity, incredible diversity, and its ability to thrive in all types of environments inspire these imaginative art works.
