72-Hour Film Challenge
VIRTUAL Film Screening
Faculty Advisor: Brian McDermott
Monday, November 21, 2022 at 8:00PM
Putting limits on creativity can result in spectacular work as artists find ways to succeed despite restrictions. Students in the DeSales TV/Film major have just one weekend to make a short film. Writing, shooting, and editing must be completed within a 72-hour window starting Thursday, November 18, and ending Sunday, November 20. The compressed time period demands smart planning, skillful screenwriting, focused shooting, and quick editing decisions. This unique approach can lead to outstanding films and truly unique stories. Completed films will be streamed for viewing.
Recommended for Ages 14+
NOTE: Due to careful timing, this event will only be available beginning promptly at 8:00 PM on Monday, November 21.
