published new book of her work "the Mark of Abel", her just-opened
exhibition at the Allentown Art Museum, and the public talk and book signing

February is Black History Month, so tonight host Steve Aaronson will be featuring African American artists who were so much a part of folk's Golden Age. Among the performers will be Lead Belly, Richie Havens, and Bernice Johnson Reagon. And don't miss Harry Belafonte and Odetta's "Hole in the Bucket" duet.

Produced and presented by Annie Prince and Bruce Wilson, this four-minute segment features advice, suggestions and tips on how to reduce one's carbon footprint and live a greener, more environmentally-friendly lifestyle. The segments air at the beginning of On the Media at 6pm on Tuesdays, and also at 5:45pm on Wednesdays, as part of All Things Considered.

11pm - 1am: Galactic Travels
Bill Fox presents hour-long soundscapes of electronic, ambient and space music. The Special Focus for January is Paul Nagle. Paul Nagle is an author, composer, and gear reviewer. He is a leading figure in the UK electronic music scene and has been composing and performing since the late 1970s. His releases span more than three decades of solo and collaborative work. The Featured CD at Midnight will be "Twilight" by Paul Nagle on BogusFocus Records.
SUNDAY, February 26
5:00 - 7:00pm: Swing Sunday
In honor of Black History Month, Rosalie and Steve will be featuring the great African American artists that were the lynch pins of the Swing/Big Band era. Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, and Benny Carter are just some of the performers that will be included. And, since it's also Academy Awards night, movie music will round out the program.
