Host John Pearce welcomes Lehigh University's Professor of Religion Studies, Benjamin G. Wright, to discuss the most ancient translation of the Old Testament--the Septuagint. This writing took the original Hebrew and translated it into Greek which would later play an important role in the transmission of the Old Testament.
Professor Wright, who specializes in Second Temple Judaism and early Christianity, is an accomplished author whose work includes co-editing A New English Translation of the Septuagint.
