Host Alan Jennings continues to discuss politics in the lead-up to the November 6 election. WDIY extended invitations to the Democratic and Republican contenders for the seats in Pennsylvania's 137th and 138th districts.
Appearing on this program are the candidates who have accepted the invitation, Democrat Amy Cozze (who is running against incumbent Republican Joe Emrick in PA's 137th District) and Democrat Dean Donaher (who is running against incumbent Republican Marcia Hahn in PA's 138th District). The incumbents’ records are public information; this will be an opportunity to learn more about their opponents.
PA's 137th District includes Bangor, East Bangor, Nazareth, Portland, Roseto, Stockertown and Tatamy; Forks, Lower Mount Bethel, Upper Mount Bethel, Upper Nazareth and Washington townships; and part of Palmer Township.
The 138th District encompasses portions of Bethlehem and Moore townships, as well as Bushkill, East Allen, Hanover, Lower Nazareth and Plainfield townships and the boroughs of Bath, Chapman, Pen Argyl and Wind Gap.
