For the 2018 Fall Membership Drive, WDIY has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Valley National Financial Advisors to make all the donations we receive go further. For every $100 raised during the Buy-Back campaign and the on-air drive, Second Harvest will receive the funds to provide 21 meals to families and individuals in need in the Lehigh Valley through the generosity of Valley National Financial Advisors.

In the fall of 2017, WDIY member donations provided Second Harvest with the funds to deliver 11,991 meals to those in need here in our own community. We are stiving to beat that goal this year!

We are pleased to announce that our members have met the Buy-Back Campaign goal of $16,000 for the 2018 Fall Membership Drive. This resulted in the first 3,475 meals of the drive provided to Second Harvest. This Buy-Back goal means we are off to a strong start.

In addition to the partnership running for this Fall Membership Drive, the benefits of being a member of WDIY continue all year round. As a current member, you will participate in our weekly member ticket giveaway. Simply provide your email address along with your membership contribution, and you will receive an email every Sunday with an opportunity to win tickets to concerts, festivals, theater performances, and film screenings all across the Lehigh Valley! We partner with some of the premier arts and music venues in the Lehigh Valley to offer tickets exclusively to our members through this weekly giveaway including:

ArtsQuest’s Musikfest Café
Sands Bethlehem Events Center
Miller Symphony Hall
State Theatre in Easton
Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University
Williams Center for the Arts at Lafayette College
Mauch Chunk Opera House
Godfrey Daniels
And many more!

Last year, we gave away over 2,000 tickets to our members and this year we hope to count you among them.

Eligibility for the weekly member ticket giveaway emails start with the minimum membership level at $60 annually or $10 per month as a sustaining member. And if your membership contribution has been at the same level for a number of years, please consider making an increase to help cover WDIY’s increasing operating costs.

Show your suport for WDIY by renewing your membership, becoming a first-time member, or making an additional gift during our Fall Membership Drive. You’ll be helping to keep the drive short, and you’ll be taking advantage of a great partnership to feed those in need in our community.
